Our Remodeling Process

Every great remodel starts with a conversation. During your free in-home consultation, one of our experienced design consultants will visit your home to understand your vision, assess the current space, and discuss your goals, preferences, and budget. We'll take detailed measurements, photograph the existing layout, and note any structural or plumbing considerations that could affect the project scope.

This is also your opportunity to ask questions, share inspiration photos, and get a feel for how we work. We'll walk you through our process, explain typical timelines for your type of project, and provide preliminary guidance on material options and costs. There's absolutely no obligation — this meeting is about understanding what you want and determining how we can bring it to life.

Most consultations last about 60 to 90 minutes. We want to make sure we thoroughly understand your needs before moving forward.

Transparency is one of our core values, and nowhere is that more apparent than in our quoting process. Once the design is finalized, we prepare a comprehensive, line-item quote that breaks down every cost: materials, labor, permits, disposal, and any subcontractor work. You'll know exactly where every dollar is going.

We don't believe in vague estimates or surprise change orders. Our quotes include a detailed scope of work document that spells out precisely what's included and what isn't. If anything changes during the project, we'll discuss it with you and get written approval before proceeding.

Once you approve the quote, we'll create a detailed project schedule with specific milestones. We coordinate material deliveries, permit applications, and subcontractor schedules to ensure everything is lined up before demolition begins. Most kitchen remodels take 3 to 6 weeks; bathroom remodels typically run 2 to 4 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline and stick to it.

Before we consider the project complete, we conduct a thorough final walkthrough with you. Together, we'll inspect every aspect of the work: cabinet doors and drawers, countertop seams, grout lines, paint touch-ups, fixture operation, and overall finish quality. We bring a punch list and won't rest until every item meets our standards — and yours.

We'll also provide a comprehensive care guide with maintenance tips specific to your new materials. Whether it's sealing natural stone countertops, caring for hardwood floors, or maintaining your new tile grout, we want your remodel to look beautiful for years to come.

Every project is backed by our industry-leading warranty: 5 years on workmanship and we pass through all manufacturer warranties on materials and fixtures. If something isn't right, we'll come back and make it right — no questions asked. Our relationship doesn't end when the last tool is packed up.
